ForlornExistence ... You've been blessed with an INCREDIBLE talent for creating such realistic images using traditional methods.

Well done ... well done indeed.

Discovering your artwork here on deviantART is one of the things that makes this site such a great venue, in that it facilitates a means by which artists who may otherwise not have a forum in which to display their talents can do so to a vast audience. :gallery: Thank you for sharing yours with the rest of us out here in cyberspace.

Best wishes,

vertebrae242 ;)

Wow! What a delightful gallery you have, I don't know were to start nor finish favouring! And this image has such a smooth tones and inspiring concept...

Actually, I came here loking for a picture to ilustrate mi latest blog post. Would you mind if I use this one? It's like my personal way to feature mi favourite artists. :)
The blog is about philosophy, jet this particular post is a non-so-philosophical just reflectioning myth. And the image would fit perfect. Either way, please tell me if you don't like the result or wouln't like your image there, but I hope you are glad with the idea.

Best regards!

thank you! i just use my imagination to compose the entire scenery of this painting.
but if your asking about the the weeping angel statue...it can be found in different graveyards all over europe, although i do suspect that the original sculpture is located in france. :eyes:

Wow, this is really beautiful, and the fact it's painted traditionally makes me appreciate it even more. The colours are clean and blend smoothly in the background creating a dreamlike atmosphere and making the motif stand out nicely. Still, in my personal opinion, it looks a bit weird when the tombstones face different directions, making the composition a bit loose. Good work anyways. :ahoy:

Excellent - very well done. The fallen angel did you make this one up from you imagination or it from a grave that eally exists? This seems so totally unique!

Thank you very much!you can find the cast of that angel in many places but i guess the original one is in france. the places only exist in my own thoughts but i gather many references cause it is hard to paint from imagination alone. thanks again...:thanks:

So is this a painting of a real statue, or did you make it up? I don't suppose I can really comment on the actual work other than to say that it's absolutely amazing. The colour is just so perfect! I'd envy you, but I'm sure you put in alot of work to get this good.
